End of Season ?

I see that there is only so much time until the end of the season. Does this mean the game is over or do you work your way up into other seasons ?

22/09/2008 at 12:00 the season ends and the winner takes the prize. Then another season will start and the cash is back at stake.
The rank, reputation and stats are back to 0.
